Grace Schneider’s work presents meaningful themes such as women's empowerment, change, and growth. Her work incorporates sculptures, textiles, photography, and digital work that presents visual and mental interpretations of the body, with a specific focus on the female body. Her mother and sister's passion for women’s health and educating women on their miraculous bodies inspired and drove Schneider to create this work.

She exhibited her first work of art in the 2021 @ART All Student Juried Art Exhibition in which she was praised for the complexity of the transformation given within her piece. On October 23, 2022, Schneider co-launched her business, Trace. Trace is an upcycling clothing business in which she creates commissioned artwork for customers.  In the Fall of 2022, she exhibited Call ME in the exhibition Watch Out! Movement. Also, in the Fall of 2022, she was awarded the OURS (Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholars) Production Grant to produce mixed-media textile sculptures on the stages of a woman’s life using tulle, yarns, wire, and more.

Schneider is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. She has a BA degree in Art with a minor in Music.
